Working With The Neighbours
The Riverside Vineyard Church
The lovely people at The Riverside Vineyard Church became our neighbours some years ago when they took over a large commercial building just across the road from us in Browells Lane Feltham. Over a period of time it has been totally transformed into a wonderful social space that serves the local community.
Supplying Signs Over The Years
In the time that we’ve been neighbours, we have had the pleasure of supplying and fitting a variety if signs for the church including their large high level aluminium facia, car park signs, illuminated boxes, banners and vinyl graphics. The church have their own in house creative team, so we are always supplied with perfect artwork and colour references which guarantees design uniformity from one sign to the next.
Latest Addition
We were contacted by Elliot who deals with design and communications at the church. He had some ideas about signage for their smart new café and initial thoughts were to produce illuminated or built up lettering for the front of a high level counter, but after looking at various material and colour options, Elliot decided to go for a brushed copper effect aluminium composite which is an inexpensive, but hard wearing material available in a variety of colours and finishes, perfect for flat cut lettering and logos such as the café sign made for the church, and also ideal as an economical alternative to powder coated aluminium when making sign trays for shop fascias.
The flat cut lettering was precision cut on our flat bed CNC machine and fitted with stand off locator fixings to add extra dimension to the signage when mounted onto the counter face. The copper colour and brushed effect of the aluminium composite gives a warm contemporary look and proves that you can achieve striking effects without blowing your budget on expensive materials.
Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget?
There’s no doubt that materials such as stainless steel, brass and other sheet metals can be both beautiful and hard wearing, and we like nothing more than getting creative with them in the workshop. However, with a wide selection of alternatives available, it’s still possible to create something smart and eye-catching without breaking the bank. Drop us a line with your ideas and one of our specialists will be ready with advice.
